简介：FollowingthesuessoftheirfeaturedebutJennifer’sShadow(2004)–anexerciseinAmericanGothicsetinascarylandcalledArgentina–PabloParésandDanieldelaVegaworkedforaUSpanyonapost-mega-disasterwastelandzombiefilminwhichSouthAmericahadbeenturnedintoanall-purpose,all-materialsjunkyard,withtheundeadasthelasthumaneentitiesaround(fetaboutthehumanshere!).Thejectnevermaterialised,butDiegoParés,Pablo’sbrother,stedtowriteanddrawaicseriesbasedonthescreenplay–whichsofarremainsaruin,asonlypswerefinishedandpublished.TheECishbeautyandballsofDiegoP.’slabouroflovehavenowbeenngeniallytransformedbythedirectorialduointoadelightfullyold-(1970s)schoollow-budgetduction,closertoRomeroandDantethanFulciandLenzi.AndtheIFFRaudienceisinforthetreatoftreats:theygettoseethefilmandcanalsoenjoytheunfinishedicinanexhibition.
